Ladies and gentlemen, your next Best Picture Winner


I predicted The Departed would win Best Picture and Scorsese Best Director early in the process of it filming, and for months I've been saying American Gangster would do the same, getting Sir Ridley Scott the Oscar he so richly deserves.

You also predicted that Sean William Scott would win an Oscar by the age of 60; and while there's plenty of time left, I suspect that there's a six pack of beer with my name on it that says that won't happen.

P.S. I predict that American Gangster will replace Scarface on MTV's CRIBS as the most frequently referenced DVD.
