From Lloyd Dobler himself:
"I've made 10 good films. The ones that suck I tend to blank out. It's like I never even made them. Well, there aren't 40 that are great, put it that way. But that's fine. Ten is a good battling average."
Let me take a shot: Sixteen Candles, Stand by Me, Eight Men Out, Say Anything..., The Grifters, Bob Roberts, Bullets Over Broadway, Grosse Pointe Blank, Being John Malkovich, and High Fidelity. That's a pretty mean top ten! 1408 and Identity got some good reviews, and Better Off Dead..., One Crazy Summer, and The Thin Red Line are decent flicks, as well. Nice career without ever selling out.
