The fight for gay rights took a giant step forward yesterday when homosexual couple Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic broadcast the late Monday Night Football game, hand in hand. They were joined by the legendary Mike Ditka, who the other Mikes lovingly referred to as "The Gimp." They tried their best, although Greenberg nearly misspoke when he said "Gore takes it up the gut." Golic took it one step further when during the replay, he said "He's got a nice hole."The Mikes had lobbied for the earlier game; Cincinnati always has a lot of Johnsons on display. But all things considered, they did a very brave thing and were warmly received by San Francisco.
