If my most memorable games list was a little longer, I might have had the epic Cowboys/Giants at the Meadowlands where Emmitt Smith carried the Cowboys to an overtime win and a first round bye. Every football fan I know couldn't help but respect him after that show stopping performance. He charmed all demographics in
Dancing with the Stars, and should have been a great addition to ESPN's
NFL Countdown pregame show. Unfortunately, he has a poor grasp of English and a shocking lack of NFL knowledge. He twice uttered the phrase "
You cannot change the stripes of a leopard," and tabbed the 1-1 Chargers as the most likely team to drop to 0-3. It has gotten so bad he is taking away from his legacy as a player. What's making it worse is that Keyshawn Johnson is a complete natural as a rookie analyst.
