Best rookie in the playoffs

Sorry Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, Cal Ripken, Jr. has easily been the most impressive rookie in the playoffs. As a studio analyst, Cal has been smooth and insightful. He broke down Josh Beckett's 2 and 4 seam fastball in terms any coach potato could understand, and was able to relate that to slow motion replays of his best pitches. When Frank Thomas wouldn't take a position on whether or not Matt Holliday touched home in the one game playoff, Cal called him out and said "You've got to go to the plate." Naturally Cal is going to get positive reviews from The Baltimore Sun, but he's also garnered praise from USA Today, Deadspin, and the by definition critical Awful Announcing.
